FAQ - Does my quote include Insurance premium tax?

Insurance Premium Tax

The prices quoted on screen or over the phone with an operator in our call centre include 12% insurance premium tax, which is the amount levied on european breakdown cover policies by the Government. This money is then passed to the Government. 

VAT Invoice

Whilst your policy includ tax, this is insurance premium tax and is charged at 12%. This is not VAT and as such you cannot claim this back as an expense. Sorry
