The Port of Santander

The port city of Santander, situated on the Atlantic North coast, is the capital of Cantabria. The city is located between Gijon and Bilbao, the other two important ports in Nothern Spain. It offers weekly sailings to Plymouth and Portsmouth operated by Brittany Ferries and to Poole operated by LD Lines.

Santander Ferry Port by Car

Santander can be easily reached via the A8 motorway if you are coming from east or west, and the A67 or N623 if coming from the South. There are plenty of signpposts for Santander, and to get to the port just follow the signs to Puerto, Zona Maritima or Ferry.
